As we come to the time of year when we gather with family and friends to give thanks, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the things we at A Cat Clinic are grateful for.

We are grateful for our wonderful clients and patients. Without them, we obviously wouldn’t exist. But even more than that, we have formed so many wonderful relationships over the years! Many clients have become friends; we’ve watched children grow up, move away, and sometimes come back. Their pets are often so much more than patients to us; we rejoice in new kittens, laugh at their antics when boarding, have clinic “helpers” when they stay for a day or a month but prefer social time to being alone, and we cry when it sadly comes to the end of their time with us.

The doctors are grateful for our wonderful staff, who work hard every day to make sure our patients and their families receive the best care. Some of our patients would rather not be here, but the staff always treats them with the same patience and kindness they would their own pets.

Of course, we are also grateful for our own families and pets. They have to understand when we miss dinner (again!) because we stayed late to take care of a patient or communicate with clients, come home smelling like other kitties, and even sometimes bring home boarding patients when there is a weather emergency and we’re afraid we won’t make it in to the clinic to care for them.

So thank you all for being a part of the A Cat Clinic family! We wish all of you and your families (two-legged and four) a very Happy Thanksgiving! And please, no turkey bones or gravy for your cats =^-^=
